DANNY'S HOUSE

Dating from the mid 1800's, Danny's layout remains much as it has always been, excepting the more modern ground floor kitchen extension.
​
Danny's offers accommodation for 4 people max with all bed linen and towels provided.
Danny's is in the process of being slowly refurbished offering cosy, comfy accommodation.
Danny's is presented in a colourful, eclectic style, with 'Loaf' sofas and more modern items mixed with family inherited antiques.
​
To the first floor there are two, well sized double bedrooms and large shower room.
Downstair, the sitting room is to the front of the house, with comfy sofas & big TV offering great lounging space whilst the 'Victorian' dining room to the rear lends itself to long, indulgent dinners at the dining table.
The modern fitted kitchen is fully equipped for your stay with dishwasher, electric hob and oven, fridge and washer/dryer.
The kitchen opens onto a small alfresco terrace area with table, bar stools, whilst stone steps lead up to further dining and sitting areas.
Also outside at ground level is a freezer & a doggie/ wet gear shower.
One off-street parking is included with the cottage along with on-street parking outside.
Danny's has high speed internet access thoughout & Google Chrome TV casting set up in the sitting room.
We have a dedicated app for the property which provides you with all the property information regarding access, passwords etc as well as local area information - this will be shared with you on booking so you are fully set up for your stay. There is also an ipad at the property with the app installed.
We have some books and DVDs for adults and children to read and some board games for your entertainment
THE GARDEN
The garden at Danny's is multi levelled, with a its alfresco courtyard, upper sitting & dining areas, and a romantic tucked away 'lookout' spot.

The garden is set on a fairly steep side slope and does have a lot of steps - please do ask us about suitability should you have young children or have access issues.
THE AREA
The village of Flushing is perfectly located for all the surrounding area has to offer, with footpaths, beaches and water activities all within walking distance or a short drive.
​
The local ferry leaves regularly from the nearby village quay taking you towards the bright lights of Falmouth and giving access to more watery adventures in The Helford, St Mawes and the Fall Estuary.
​
Mylor Marina, around the hedland from Flushing, offers boat hire, or moorings if you want to bring your own boat.
​
Locally, two good pubs, a cafe/restaurant and local shop serve the village with lots of other places to eat and shop close by.
